What on earth is DECIEM?

Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, Avestan, and other beauty brands, and is an industry disruptor with an innovation-focused approach. It was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed the company with creativity and innovation alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

What we are looking for.

We are seeking someone who will support employees and new hires with software and hardware issues. You must be empathetic, have strong communication skills, and be able to prioritize.

This role will be based out of our Toronto, Head office location.

What you would be doing.

  • Provides Tier 1 and 2 helpdesk supports
  • Provide end-user support, administer and/or support the company's various systems, applications, and portals, including cloud-based file management, training applications, Active Directory, and 0365 Suite
  • Work on the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of workstations, phones (Mobile and Desktop) operating systems, printers, performance monitoring/tuning, and decommissioning retired hardware and software
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations IT Service Management Tool
  • Follows up on outstanding incidents and escalations to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Participates in on-call rotation and is expected to respond within the service level targets
  • Assists with centralized systems deployment and IT asset management
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Desktop applications, SaaS applications, and basic network connectivity
  • Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced, mission-critical technology support environment
  • Proficiency in the installation, use, and support of Windows and cloud-based applications

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Strong support knowledge of Windows 10, Exchange/Outlook, O365 Suite, OKTA, VPN, SaaS-based applications and iOS and mobile devices, Azure, ADDS
  • Experience managing Active Directory accounts, groups, OUs, GPOs etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in desktop support role
  • Expertise in the deployment and support of enterprise backup and recovery strategies and virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Certification in CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ and etc. is an asset
