Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, Avestan, and other beauty brands, and is an industry disruptor with an innovation-focused approach. It was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed the company with creativity and innovation alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Area Sales Manager with strong industry experience to lead our Retail teams across The UK.

This role will play a significant part in growing Brand Equity through our people and in-store experience. This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading brand in its hypergrowth stage.

What you would be doing?

( Business Management/ People: relationships and development )

  • Responsible for the growth of our FSS and Department stores throughout The UK
  • Lead and develop the Area Manager(s) within the territory, paving out clear succession plans for their future
  • Work closely with our Retail teams in-store, identify training needs, and work with L&D to successfully implement
  • Ensure the recruitment of top talent for our retail locations - Take an abnormal approach to recruitment and identify skin-obsessed educators and influential people leaders.
  • Create a business strategy for your region in order to meet and exceed targets
  • Support the Head of Retail in managing P&L
  • Launch new locations throughout the region
  • Partner with the Brand team to identify and implement innovative events, animation, and activities to drive traffic and support customer engagement, education, awareness, and loyalty. Support store teams for events across the region.
  • Regular travel throughout the territory
  • Work closely with our Retail teams in store, identify training needs and work with L&D to successfully implement.

What skills and qualifications do you need?

    • Strong multi-site management experience in both Free Standing Store and Department store models
    • Exceptional communication skills in order to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Experience in managing events within the Retail Industry
    • Experience in managing Employee Relations/HR
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
